For us, it has mostly been a result of reaching out to our existing network.
Starting by doing free or cheap jobs for friends & family allows you to build a portfolio and get paid (even just a little bit) to practice your process. The more you practice what you produce, the more money your product will be worth.
Our marketing does not need to be automated yet. We have enough booked jobs from our network to pay for our expenses and give us the practice we need to gradually improve and earn the right to charge more. We are testing our production capacity. Once we discover the current limits, we can determine how to increase them. Then, marketing systems will be put in place to bring in leads more quickly.
